- Social gathering for drinks or dinner (with guest speakers) to foster interest in general marine knowledge and enhance fellowship among members;
- New members' welcoming parties or other special events;
- Participation in activities organised by the affiliated clubs and organisations;
- Participation in charity fund-raising events;
- Attending local and international Boat Shows or conferences; and
- Attending emergency or safety courses.
